I developed the technique of painting in clay in the year
1998 while living on the Osa peninsula. Experimenting
with the different clays of the area I discovered that they
could be used to paint on canvas.
In the year 2010 I recapture the technique, this time
adding sand and experimenting with many types of clay from various parts of Costa Rica.
